Special Needs Van
Any Melville resident who for whatever reason is unable, without special facilities, to travel from the door of their residence to the door of their designation is eligible to make application to the Van Advisory Committee to use the Special Needs Van.

Hours of Service
7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily (seven days a week)

Fare Structure:
Round Trip: $10.00 per passenger
One Way Trip : $5.00 per passenger
One Way Trip Outside City: $7.00 per passenger plus .85˘ per kilometre
One Way Group Charge if picked up or delivered to one destination: $15.00 per group

Booking a Trip:
The operator will need to know your name and address, destination and what time you wish to be there And the time you wish to return. If you wish to be at a destination at a specific time, please make arrangements in advance allowing the driver sufficient time to work this trip into his/her schedule.
