Surrounding Communities 

Dubuc
Every year in April, the small village hosts an ATV derby that attracts a very large crowd from the surrounding area. Also, monthly singles dances are held within the Community Hall.

Grayson
For tourists just stopping in Grayson for a little break, they should consider visiting the fabulous park and campground which is a great place for a picnic, football pick-up game or swing ride. Also, water and restroom facilities are in place for the publics use.

Grayson is also home to many kilometres worth of quad and snowmobiling trails. Local derby events are held throughout the year, with the proceeds going towards the betterment of the community. 

Hunting is another favourite pastime for people around this area as many of the finest deer and elk have been spotted within the surrounding area. During the hunting off-season, a major pastime for hunting fanatics is shed looking where old antlers are discovered and typically re-sold for large revenue.

Neudorf
Neudorf is a perfect tourist destination as its close proximity to the Qu’Appelle Valley is certainly an asset. Also, the golf course can provide hours of leisurely entertainment. Furthermore, exciting Tri-Highway Fastball League action occurs as the hometown Pearl Creek Posse Fastball take on many of their rivals.

Whether you’re coming in for a tournament or just passing through, the village invites you to its campground. In addition, one of the best hang-gliding areas in western Canada lies 10 minutes away from the community.

Waldron
The residents of Waldron continue to gather at the cenotaph on Remembrance Day to honour the war dead. They also host their annual fall supper Nov. 11, serving up to 300 people who travel from afar. Buoyed by the overwhelmingly positive response to the first of its kind homecoming event locals are talking of plans to commemorate the Village of Waldron’s 100th anniversary in 2009 as well as thinking about producing a community history book.
